On Sunday 24 May 2020, the Representative Office of the Republic of Malta in Ramallah, Palestine collaborated with Maltese national, Ms Sanaa El-Nahhal, who is currently in Gaza, in order to organize a reception for Gazan children in celebration of the Holy Muslim feast of Eid Al Fitr, marking the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.  

The Representative of Malta, Mr Reuben Gauci, joined the reception in connection via facebook- messenger from his residence in East Jerusalem and thanked Ms El Nahhal for extending traditional Maltese hospitality in Gaza ( which hospitality matches that of Palestinians ), during the challenging times of COVID19, and wished her well in her endeavors.
