27/11/2024

For the third consecutive year, Ambassador Pace and Mrs. Bojana Dimitrovska, spouse, hosted a dinner in honour of the Maltese community resident in Egypt, this time round at their official residence in Zamalek. Although far from numerous as the Maltese community that was resident in Egypt up to the 1950s, the current diaspora counts religious persons living in Cairo and Alexandria, Maltese married to Egyptian nationals as well as Maltese employees currently working in Egypt.

Ambassador Pace was accompanied by Mr Pascoe Grima, Deputy Head of Mission & Consul. Also present were Messrs. Samir El Alaily and Mohammed Fathi Abass Soukar, Honorary Consuls for Alexandria and Suez respectively.

Ambassador Pace is grateful to those who have attended, especially those who came all the way from Suez and Alexandria.
