Ambassador Dr Vanni Xuereb formally presented his Letter of Appointment as Head of Mission of Malta to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to the Secretary General, Mr Mark Rutte.

The official presentation was followed by a cordial and productive meeting, during which Ambassador Xuereb and Secretary General Rutte discussed the strong and evolving relationship between Malta and NATO. Their conversation also touched on pressing regional matters, with particular emphasis on developments in the Mediterranean.  This marks another significant step in reinforcing Malta’s ongoing diplomatic engagement on the international stage.
