Embassy of Malta in the Federal Republic of Germany

Malta and the Federal Republic of Germany have maintained diplomatic relations since 16 February 1965 with both nations cultivating strong bilateral ties through their membership within the European Union. Despite the difference in size and the geographical distance between Malta and Germany, the relations between our two countries, based on decades of friendship, are strong and wide-ranging. Germany is one of Malta’s leading partners in several essential sectors, especially the manufacturing industry, trade, tourism, various service industries, education and culture. Our mission at the Embassy is to expand existing links and to explore new possibilities for further cooperation, while strengthening the friendship between our countries. On this website you can find information on services offered by the Embassy, such as consular services, as well as about our diplomatic work.
