Ambassador Carmelo Inguanez paid a brief official visit to Strasbourg on Friday 19 February. During this visit, he had meetings at the Mairie de Strasbourg and at the Prefecture.  He met with Diplomatic Counsellor of the Prefete of the Grand Est region Ambassador Antoine Grassin and the Deputy to the Mayor Anne Mistler. Subjects of mutual interest were discussed such as environment, climate change, cultural and student exchanges  and migration. The meetings were organised by the Hon Consul in Strasbourg M Eric Mayer Schaller who also hosted the Ambassador to a reception at his residence for this occasion.
