Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Malta and Seychelles

On Tuesday 21st May 2019, the High Commissioner for Malta in the United Kingdom, Joseph Cole and the High Commissioner of Seychelles signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of bilateral political consultations between Malta and the Seychelles. The signing of the MoU took place at the Malta High Commission in London.

The purpose of the MoU is to establish a mechanism for regular bilateral consultations at diplomatic level aimed at fostering bilateral dialogue. The consultations will cover several issues in the political, economic, technological and consular areas as well as other sectors of common interest

The MoU is another step forward in forging enhanced bilateral cooperation between Malta and the Seychelles.
