On 21st September 2022, His Excellency Clint Tanti presented his Letters of Credence as the Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the Kingdom of Belgium to His Majesty Philippe, King of the Belgians. The Presentation of Credentials ceremony was held at the Royal Palace, the official seat of His Majesty in Brussels, Belgium. 

Following the Presentation of Credentials, Ambassador Tanti held a private audience with His Majesty the King, during which both sides underlined Malta and Belgium’s excellent ties, deeply rooted in almost sixty years of long-standing bilateral relations. Furthermore, H.E. Ambassador Tanti and H.M. King Philippe discussed areas of further collaboration between the two countries. His Majesty the King congratulated Ambassador Tanti on his appointment, expressed his wish for bilateral relations between Malta and Belgium to continue strengthening further. 

Ambassador Tanti was accompanied by Mr. Omar Agius, Deputy Head of Mission and Consul. Upon its arrival to the Royal Palace, the Maltese delegation was welcomed with a Guard of Honour.
