During his first visit he met the Executive Committee of the Maltese Canadian Association of the City of Hamilton (MCACH) for a welcoming meeting and dinner.

Consul General Dr Raymond C. Xerri was greeted and introduced by founder and president of MCACH, Joseph Brincat and his wife Agnes at Carmen’s Banquet Hall Carmen’s Hotel in the heart of the city of Hamilton when attending the first event since the pandemic, ‘Breakfast with Santa.’

This event was very well attended considering the pandemic restrictions. Consul General Xerri delivered a speech where he highlighted the benefits of Maltese citizenship and obtaining a Maltese passport to present and future generations of Maltese Canadians.  He augured all present the very best for the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.

This visit to the Hamilton-Wentworth Region is the fourth in a series of similar visits conducted by the Consul General of the Republic of Malta to Canada.
