Consequently, the Ambassador was informed that Hanazono Junior and Senior High School intends to send more students to study the English language abroad including Malta so that they could also benefit from this unique experience.

The visit was organised by the teachers at the same institution, who also guided Ambassador Spiteri around the school. While at the school, Ambassador Spiteri also observed English language and Science classes, which were taking place at the school.

After a brief guided tour of Myoshinji Temple organised by the Hanazono Junior and Senior  High School, Ambassador Spiteri delivered a lecture on Malta-Japan relations, which was followed by a question-and-answer session with the students.

At the end of the visit, Ambassador Spiteri expressed his appreciation towards the warm welcome that he was given by the school and expressed his hope for future opportunities for cooperation in the field of education between Malta and Japan.
