The Ambassador of Malta in France, Mr Carmelo Inguanez visited Strasbourg to participate in several meetings scheduled with the assistance of the Honorary Consul of Malta in Strasbourg,  Mr Eric Mayer-Schaller. Ambassador Inguanez was received by the Prefect of the Region and Bas-Rhin Josiane Chevalier in the presence of the new Diplomatic Adviser Philippe Lacoste, at the Region Grand Est by Mr. Christian Debeve, Regional Councillor and President of the Commission for International and Cross-Border Relations, and at the CCI of the Region Alsace by President Jean-Luc Heimburger. Among the topics discussed were the economy and trade, immigration, and climate action. A reception was held at the Maltese Honorary Consulate, which is also the home of the Maltese Honorary Consul, where members of the diplomatic corps, Honorary Consuls and other personalities attended.
