This Mission has had a system whereby the voicemail of the Mission’s local telephone number provides the emergency phone number in Maltese – This is to avoid unurgent calls over the weekends, given that the same diplomat is always assigned the emergency phone. This Mission would like to maintain this system as urgent calls have always reached us.
