Ivan Vassallo is currently the Consul General of Malta in Casablanca. He is a History graduate focusing mainly on the early 20^th century.

He joined the Diplomatic Corps in 2012 and has served as Consul General and Deputy Head of Mission in Malta’s diplomatic missions to Italy, Algeria and India. In these missions he worked not only to strengthen the consular services but to strengthen cultural cooperation between the two countries.

His prime aim in this particular term of office is to enhance the already strong relations that exist between Malta and Morocco and bring their organisations and people closer together towards mutually beneficial ends and enhanced cooperation
