The European Union (EU) Delegation to Russia successfully hosted an information webinar ‘Study in the EU’ on Wednesday, 26 November 2025. Speakers from 6 EU countries (Austria, Germany, Hungary, Cyprus, Malta and France) participated in the event, introducing the education and research opportunities available for Russian students.

Malta was represented by Ms Marina Giuffrè from the International Office of the University of Malta, who delivered a presentation introducing prospective students to the University’s study programmes, campus life, and international engagement initiatives.

There were more than 450 participants, who asked over 100 questions, including academic and language requirements, application procedures for higher education courses, visa regulations and so on. The Embassy of Malta in Moscow assisted the University with its participation in this event.
