Interactive lecture on Malta-India Diplomatic Relations at Jawaharlal University, New Delhi

On Monday 3 February 2025, the High Commissioner of Malta to India, H.E. Reuben Gauci delivered an interactive lecture marking the 60th Anniversary of Malta-India Diplomatic Relations, at the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University ( JNU )  in New Delhi, India. In previous months, the High Commission of Malta in New Delhi, India held similar interactive lectures marking the 60th Year of Malta-India Diplomatic Relations in various institutions in the Indian capital. 

The lecture was hosted by the JNU’s Centre for European Studies, Jean Monnet.

During the lecture, High Commissioner Gauci spoke about Malta-India interactions dating back to the 19th Century, when both countries were still part of the British Empire, the attainment of Independence and the commencement of Diplomatic Relations between both Nations on 10 March 1965 and the road ahead to the present day.
