Presentation of Letters of Credence of H.E. Raymond Sarsero as the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

H.E. Raymond Sarsero, the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on 4th September 2022, during a ceremony held at the Royal Hashemite Court in Amman. During their discussion, H.M. King Abdullah II expressed his best wishes to the Ambassador in his new role, underlining Jordan’s willingness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. For his part, H.E. Ambassador Raymond Sarsero looked forward to enhancing the longstanding friendly relations and to increase commercial exchanges between Malta and Jordan. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Ayman Hussein Abdullah Al-Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and H.E. Mr. Yousef al-Isawi, Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court.

The Presentation of Credentials was preceded by the Ambassador presenting his Copie d’Usage to H.E. Hazem Al-Khatib Al-Tamimi, Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. During his stay in Amman, the Ambassador also held various meetings, including with Mr. Khalil El Haj Tawfiq, Chairman of Amman Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Nael F. Al-Husami, CEO of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Senator  Nael Raja Al-Kabariti, Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, and H.E. Maria Hadjitheodosiou, Head of the European Union Delegation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Mr. Ashraf Kawar, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Malta in Jordan, provided invaluable support to the Ambassador and accompanying delegation throughout the visit to Jordan.The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Pascoe Grima, Second Secretary.
