On Monday 29 April 2024 the Ambassador of Malta to the State of Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan, His Excellency Prof Dr George A. Said-Zammit, presented his Letters of Credence as non-resident Ambassador to the President of the Republic of Iraq, His Excellency Abdul Latif Rashid. The official occasion took place at the Presidential Palace in Baghdad. His Excellency the President expressed his best wishes and success to the new Ambassador as they talked about the present and future bilateral relations. Ambassador Said-Zammit was accompanied by the Deputy Head of Mission, Ms Marie Louise Attard.
